Akari Earth is in an early research and design stage. It is not currently accepting housing or membership applications.
What Akari Earth Is
Akari Earth is an effort to explore, develop, test, and share better models for creating home and community together. It brings cooperative housing, long-term stewardship, democratic governance, individual dignity, shared responsibility, and human difference into the same conversation.
The goal is not to design a utopia. It is to investigate whether communities can be structured to survive conflict, prevent concentrated power, recognize different forms of contribution, and allow people to belong without forced conformity.

How can communities make decisions, assign leadership, resolve conflict, and confront harmful behavior without allowing founders, majorities, wealth, or informal influence to become unchecked power?
Home and Shared Stewardship
How can housing provide meaningful individual security while land, resources, responsibility, and long-term community purpose are stewarded together?
